Body Interact, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Innovation Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of understanding on the use of the virtual patient simulator for professors and students of higher education institutions of the country.
The Ministry described Body Interact as the “platform that teaches the student to develop clinical reasoning and decision-making skills” through real virtual scenarios and to “easily apply theoretical knowledge in practice”.
Due to the epidemiological situation, new innovative solutions were introduction in the field of education. Distance learning became the daily routine of millions of students and Body Interact has been introduced worldwide as the solution for clinical education.
Increase the student self-confidence, promote the sense of responsibility in making clinical decisions, develop the efficiency of integration of diagnostic data and decision-making and teach how to evaluate the appropriateness of treatment. These were the major benefits highlighted by the Ministry of Uzbekistan and what encourage them provide the software to all higher education institutions.
The coronavirus pandemic has changed the way education is provided around the world. Millions of students continue to study without going to their institutions. Nevertheless, now also Uzbekistan students are training with virtual patients in the safe environment of their houses.
